Syria, South Africa discuss ways to enhance cooperation in health sector

Damascus, SANA – Syrian Health Minister Dr. Musab Al-Ali discussed with South Africa’s Ambassador to Damascus, Ashraf Youssef Suleiman, aspects to enhance joint cooperation in the health sector between the two countries.

During their meeting, held Thursday at the ministry’s headquarters, the two sides discussed the state of the health sector, the challenges it faces, and ways to improve the quality of medical services.

The two sides pointed out the need to exchange medical expertise and experiences in all specialties, and to enhance cooperation in the field of pharmaceutical industries and medical supplies.
