Daraa-SANA
Several local officials of Daraa Governorate held a broad meeting on Sunday with dignitaries of the displaced Bedouins from Sweida province, aiming to discuss the main challenges they face and ways to improve their living conditions in shelter areas.
The meeting was attended by Khaled Zain Al-Abidin, Head of Public Relations in the governorate, and Hussein Al-Nusairat, Director of the Executive Office for Organizations and Emergency Affairs.
They listened to the demands and suggestions of the dignitaries, affirming the governorate’s commitment to providing possible support in cooperation with relevant authorities and humanitarian organizations.
The meeting addressed issues related to securing basic services, alleviating the suffering of the displaced, and exploring future coordination mechanisms to ensure a continued response to urgent needs.
Participants in the meeting emphasized the importance of continuing such gatherings to promote social stability and reinforce the values of solidarity and shared responsibility among the governorate’s residents.
Daraa province continues its efforts to enhance social stability and respond to the needs of the displaced, as part of the government’s policy to support all national components.
