Daraa – SANA
Israeli occupation forces carried out a military incursion on Sunday morning into the towns of Saysoun and Jamlah in western Daraa countryside, conducting searches inside residential neighborhoods.
According to SANA’s correspondent in Daraa, around 18 Israeli military vehicles advanced between civilian homes in Saysoun, where troops carried out raids and searches, while additional units deployed around Jamlah near the disengagement line with the occupied Syrian Golan.
The incursion was accompanied by Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flying over the area, heightening tension among residents. Local witnesses reported that occupation soldiers conducted field interrogations during the searches.
Syria has repeatedly condemned such Israeli aggressions and incursions in parts of Quneitra, Daraa, and the Damascus countryside, stressing that they undermine stability and constitute a blatant violation of international law and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement. Damascus has called on the international community to take a firm stance to halt these violations.
