Damascus, SANA – Assistant Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic for Cabinet Affairs, Engineer Ali Keda, and the Minister of Transport, Dr. Yarab Badr, inspected on Sunday the Ministry of Transport’s pavilions at the Damascus Countryside Exhibition Center, as part of the ongoing preparations for participation in the 62nd Damascus International Fair.
During the tour, they were briefed on the preparations being implemented by the Ministry’s affiliated entities, which are participating this year with four pavilions representing the General Authority for Road Transport, the Hejaz Railway Corporation, and the General Authority for Railways, in addition to a pavilion dedicated to the Ministry.
Director of Government Communications at the Ministry of Transport, Hussein Al-Hajj Abdullah, said that the ministry’s participation this year will be “distinctive and different from that before liberation,” in terms of the equipment and interactive visual displays that reflect the ministry’s projects in the reconstruction phase and the development of the transport sector’s infrastructure.
Abdullah called on Syrians at home and abroad to contribute to reconstruction efforts and highlight Syria’s true image as a safe and developed country.
