Damascus, May 8 (SANA) Syrian Education Minister Mohammad Abdul Rahman Turko and Mauritanian Ambassador to Damascus Taleb Al-Mukhtar Muhammad Al-Mujtaba discussed ways to strengthen educational cooperation and expand coordination between the two countries.
During talks at the Education Ministry headquarters in Damascus, Turko highlighted efforts to improve the school environment and develop students’ skills through the establishment of activity halls in a number of schools.
He also stressed the importance of strengthening Arab educational cooperation and developing shared approaches to address cultural and educational challenges while keeping pace with scientific and technological developments.
The Mauritanian ambassador reaffirmed his country’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Syria in the education sector and praised the performance of Syrian students in international forums.
