Homs, April 6 (SANA) – A technology bootcamp titled “SPRINTO Bootcamp” was launched at the ICT incubator of Homs University on Monday, bringing together students and young professionals interested in digital technologies to develop skills in managing digital products and entering the technology job market.
The training program is organized under the patronage of the university in partnership with the Homs branch of the Junior Chamber International, the ICT incubator, Innovet company, and Hannan Foundation. It aims to equip participants with leadership mindsets and technical tools needed to manage the full lifecycle of digital products—from planning to launch and monitoring.
Director of the ICT incubator at the Syrian Computer Society in Homs, engineer Hala Jahjah, explained that the camp focuses on training participants in digital product management rather than programming alone, enabling them to understand market needs, analyze digital products, and manage them through structured stages from planning to deployment and follow-up.
Khaled al-Jundi, vice president of the Junior Chamber International in Homs, said the organization’s participation comes within its role as a youth-driven volunteer body focused on building partnerships and supporting initiatives that create sustainable impact for young people.
Program director at the Hannan Foundation, Dr. Saddad Akkad, noted that the initiative helps young people develop their ambitions and build their future through cooperation between universities and supporting organizations capable of providing real opportunities for youth in Homs.
For her part, Innovet’s human resources officer Dunia al-Akhras said the company’s involvement aims to support Syrian youth in entering the rapidly growing field of technology project management.
The bootcamp runs from April 6 to April 9, featuring training sessions on digital product management fundamentals, agile planning, system architecture design, product launch preparation, and DevOps operations.
