Damascus, March 13 (SANA) Mrs. Latifa al-Droubi, wife of President Ahmad al-Sharaa, visited the al-Ibda’a “Creativity” School in Daraya on Friday to review the school’s educational environment after its rehabilitation and reopening for students.

During the visit, Mrs. al-Droubi toured classrooms, met with students and teachers, and listened to their experiences and challenges. She highlighted the importance of supporting schools and fostering educational spaces that help build the next generation’s future.

Students presented a cultural and artistic program during the visit, which included Quran recitations, poetry, and a group anthem. Mrs. al-Droubi also met with school administrators and teachers to discuss local educational conditions and staff needs.

The “Creativity” School was fully restored in 2025 through the efforts of the Merciful Hearts Association and a group of women from Damascus, allowing the school to resume its role in educating and supporting Daraya’s students.
