Raqqa, Feb. 27 (SANA) Syria’s Ministry of Education delivered 100,000 school textbooks to its Raqqa directorate on Thursday, the second batch aimed at meeting local schools’ needs.
Hamza Houriyeh, head of the ministry’s Media Department, said the deliveries are part of a broader plan to ensure schools have sufficient textbooks and to support education in northeastern Syria.
The books will be distributed directly to schools based on each school’s requirements. The first batch of 118,345 textbooks was delivered on January 29.

The ministry said the deliveries form part of efforts to improve education in the Jazira region following the government’s reintegration of areas previously held by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
