Higher Education Ministry Grants Exceptional Year to Private University Students

Damascus – SANA-The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has granted students at private universities who exhausted their study opportunities after June 14, 2025, an exceptional additional year for the 2025–2026 academic session.

Assistant Minister for Private Education Affairs, Mohammad al-Suwaid, explained that to qualify, students must not have previously benefited from related decrees and decisions.

The ministry stressed that the measure reflects its commitment to enabling students to complete their studies and ensuring they are not deprived of their academic rights.
