Gold Prices drop in Local Market

Damascus, SANA-Gold prices in the Syrian local market fell by SYP 5,000 compared to yesterday’s rate, which stood at SYP 930,000 per gram for 21-karat gold.

According to the latest bulletin published Tuesday by the Goldsmiths Syndicate, the selling price of 21-karat gold was set at SYP 925,000 per gram, while the buying price was SYP 905,000.

The price of 18-karat gold reached SYP 795,000 per gram for selling and SYP 775,000 for buying.

The Syndicate emphasized the importance of adhering to the official pricing and displaying it clearly at shopfronts.
