Transport Ministry explores opportunities for cooperation in transport sector with Jordan

Damascus, SANA – Minister of Transport, Yarub Badr, discussed Sunday with a delegation from Jordanian investment companies, GET, and Nammi Box, ways to enhance joint cooperation and investment opportunities in the transportation sector.

Transport Ministry explores opportunities for cooperation in transport sector with Jordan

Minister Badr affirmed the Ministry’s readiness to provide all necessary facilities to enable serious investments and open up prospects for cooperation with the private sector, to contribute to developing the transport sector’s infrastructure and achieving the development goals linked with the recovery and reconstruction phase.

He also highlighted the importance of partnership made with investors to implement vital and strategic projects that serve the national economy and support sustainable development.

For their part, representatives of the two Jordanian companies gave a detailed presentation on their fields of work in transportation, technology and logistics services, stressing their desire to enter into investment partnerships in the Syrian market, based on clear economic feasibility studies and a long-term vision that serves the mutual interests of both sides.
