Syrian Petroleum Company joins CERAWeek energy forum in United States

Damascus, March 23 (SANA) The Syrian Petroleum Company (SPC), represented by its CEO Youssef Qablawi, is participating in the CERAWeek energy conference in the United States, held from March 23 to 27 under the theme “Convergence and Competition: Energy, Technology, and Geopolitics.”

The company said Sunday on its Telegram channel that CERAWeek is one of the world’s leading energy forums and a platform bringing together industry leaders, including senior officials, executives from major companies, and experts in technology and finance.

According to the company, the conference will address key topics including challenges facing global energy markets and their geopolitical implications, energy transition dynamics, technological innovation and sustainable solutions, as well as energy security.

The company said its participation aims to enhance Syria’s international presence, showcase investment opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and support the development of the energy sector through the transfer and localization of expertise.

The Syrian Petroleum Company (SPC) was established under Presidential Decree No. 189 of 2025 as a unified national entity overseeing oil and gas companies, as well as the transportation and distribution of petroleum products across Syria. It is headquartered in Damascus and operates under the Ministry of Energy.
