Vienna, March 17 (SANA) Governor of the Central Bank of Syria Abdulkader Husrieh met President of the Arab-Austrian Chamber of Commerce Werner Fasslabend in Vienna to discuss strengthening economic and financial cooperation.
The meeting, held at the chamber’s headquarters, focused on expanding trade ties and enhancing collaboration between Syrian and Austrian financial institutions to support investment opportunities and expand economic partnerships.
Husrieh heads a Syrian delegation visiting Vienna to take part for the first time in the 2026 Global Anti-Fraud Summit, held at the United Nations headquarters in the Austrian capital.
The summit aims to strengthen international cooperation in combating financial crimes and modern fraud methods.
