Abu Dhabi, March 16 (SANA) – The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has suspended crude oil loading operations at Fujairah Port following a drone attack that triggered fires at a key export facility, according to sources cited by Reuters.
Sources said crude loading at the port was temporarily halted after the incident, while other operations resumed shortly afterward. Two of the port’s three berths are reported to be functioning normally.
One source indicated that facilities linked to ADNOC’s crude export operations were targeted in the attack.
Earlier Monday, Emirati authorities confirmed that a fire had broken out in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone after a drone strike.
Fujairah is one of the region’s most important oil terminals and serves as a major hub for storing and exporting crude outside the Arabian Gulf, making it a strategically significant node in global energy trade.
