Amman, Feb. 13 (SANA) The Syrian General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport signed a memorandum of understanding with Queen Noor Civil Aviation Technical College in Jordan on training and development, in the capital, Amman.

The Authority stated on Friday in a statement that the memorandum aims to strengthen joint cooperation in training, qualification, and exchange of expertise, contributing to improving the efficiency of human resources and enhancing civil aviation safety and security standards.

The Authority was represented at the signing by Director of Administrative Development Ghayth Sulaiman, while the college was represented by its Director-General, Dr Farhan al-Mashagbeh.

Last Wednesday in Amman, Syria and Jordan signed an air transport services agreement, updating the 1976 air transport agreement between the two countries, originally signed on April 21, 1976.
