Damascus, Feb.02 (SANA) Syria’s Minister of Economy and Industry Nidal al-Shaar on Sunday discussed with Algeria’s Ambassador to Damascus Abdelkader Kasmi al-Hassani ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand economic and industrial cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting at the ministry headquarters, both sides stressed the importance of developing economic and industrial cooperation in a manner that supports mutual interests and opens new prospects for partnership across various sectors. They also exchanged views on available opportunities that could serve the interests of both Syria and Algeria.
The meeting comes as part of the two sides’ keenness to consolidate bilateral relations and activate channels of economic and industrial communication, with the aim of enhancing cooperation between Syria and Algeria in various fields.
