Syria is hosting the first-ever Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), themed “Together We Build,” under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Technology. The event is attended by Michael Ohnmacht, Head of the European Union Delegation to Syria.
The week-long event aims to foster a spirit of innovation among Syrians and highlight the vital role of entrepreneurship in supporting the country’s economic and social recovery. It also focuses on key areas such as women’s entrepreneurship, financing, investment, and the social impact of entrepreneurial projects.
With over 75 activities scheduled across 25 cities and towns in all Syrian governorates, the event offers a platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas and projects, underscoring the importance of entrepreneurship in rebuilding and revitalizing the country.
