Damascus, SANA – Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Raed Al-Saleh stated that the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) projects in the Syrian Arab Republic were signed and inaugurated, emphasizing that this event embodies the depth of brotherhood between Syria and Saudi Arabia.
During the signing ceremony, Minister Al-Saleh added: “I extend my sincere thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for their support to the Syrian people and their standing with Syria during this critical phase to alleviate the suffering of its citizens.”
Minister Al-Saleh said: “Today, we look forward to a new phase of partnership and humanitarian response, expanding horizons of cooperation to serve our shared goals of protecting civilians and achieving comprehensive development, and making this partnership a fundamental pillar at the national level.”
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) projects to be rehabilitated include sewage networks, well rehabilitation, a cash sponsorship project for orphans in Damascus countryside, Homs, and Idleb, and support for wheat production in the eastern Aleppo countryside and northern Syria.
The (KSrelief) projects signed include medical projects, including equipping 17 central hospitals, providing kidney dialysis machines, launching 61 volunteer projects covering 45 specialties, and a project to construct and equip a health care center. Rehabilitation projects include a project to rehabilitate damaged bakeries in Syria, providing shelter, rehabilitating homes, and orphan care projects.
