Turkish Minister: Participation in Damascus Fair is a Support for Syria's Stability

Damascus, SANA- Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat said Turkey’s participation in the 62nd Damascus International Fair reflects Ankara’s commitment to strengthening ties with Syria and supporting its stability and recovery.

Bolat told SANA during the opening ceremony of the Fair that the broad participation of 500 Turkish businessmen “reflects Turkey’s keenness to develop bilateral relations and enhance cooperation with Syria in various fields”.

Speaking to SANA at the opening ceremony, Bolat noted that more than 500 Turkish business representatives joined the event, underscoring Turkey’s interest in expanding cooperation in various sectors.

He described Syria’s unity and stability as “a cornerstone for regional security and development,” and stressed that both sides are working steadily to deepen coordination on its recovery.

The minister added that Turkey views Syria’s reconstruction and growth as a priority, and intends to contribute in ways that promote economic recovery and regional stability.

This year’s Damascus International Fair features over 800 companies from 20 Arab and foreign countries, making it one of the largest trade gatherings in the region.
