Damascus, SANA –Energy Minister Mohammed Al-Bashir met Wednesday with John Bell, managing director of Gulfsands Petroleum, to discuss cooperation and the company’s possible resumption of oil field rehabilitation and development projects in Syria.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Bashir emphasized the importance of partnerships with oil companies to support energy sector in Syria and meet national needs.
For his part, Gulfsands managing director expressed interest in reactivating the company’s activities in Syria and contributing to the rehabilitation and production programmes during the next stage.
