Damascus, SANA- A Saudi delegation of more than 130 businessmen and investors, headed by Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz al-Falih, arrived at Damascus International Airport.
The visit aims to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation and sign agreements that contribute to promoting sustainable development and economic interests between Syria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The delegation was received by Minister of Economy and Industry, Dr. Mohammad Nidal al-Shaar, Minister of Energy, Eng. Mohammad al-Bashir, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdul Salam Heikal, and the Saudi Ambassador to Syria, Dr. Faisal bin Saud al-Majfal.
The visit program includes holding a Syrian-Saudi investment forum and launching the Fayhaa White Cement Factory project in Adra Industrial City in Damascus countryside.
