Syria, Turkey sign protocol establishing the Syrian-Turkish Business Council

Ankara, SANA-Syria and Turkey signed Wednesday a protocol establishing the Syrian-Turkish Business Council, which will contribute to opening new prospects for bilateral cooperation in various economic fields.

The protocol was signed at the end of “Turkish-Syrian Roundtable Meeting” between minister of Economy and Industry Mohammad Nidal al-Shaar and Syrian and Turkish businessmen in Istanbul that focused on strengthening economic and investment relations between Syria and Turkey.

The meeting which was held Wednesday at the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK), included a presentation on the public-private partnership model, delivered by Dr. Eyup Vural Aydın, along with contributions from representatives of participating companies.
