Damascus, SANA – Information Minister Mohammad Ramez Tourjman discussed on Sunday with the head of the mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Syria Marian Gaser means of boosting cooperation in the field of media cooperation .
The Minister highlighted the importance of activating joint cooperation between the Ministry and the ICRC in holding courses that focus on human development and humanitarian law issues.
He cited the negative impacts of the crisis in Syria on the Syrian society, referring in particular to the issue of injured people with disabilities and the importance of focusing on integrating them into the society.
Gaser, for her part, highlighted the possibility of the ICRC providing special support in the media field, especially that its mission coordinates its efforts for helping injured people and providing prosthetic limbs with the Syrian ministries and bodies concerned.
