Bangkok, SANA – Hazem Nao, member of the Syrian national U-18 tennis team, qualified Thursday for the semifinals in the singles competitions within Thailand International Tennis Championship.
Nao qualified after winning 6-2 and 6-1 over the Australian player Thomas Bosancic in the quarterfinals. He is going to meet a New Zealand player tomorrow.
By reaching this stage, Nao has guaranteed a place for his within the top 300 players in the world according to the rankings of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) for players U-18 where he is now ranked 371st.
