Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will continue to slightly drop to become around average or slightly higher as the country is still affected by superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, and local rain showers might fall over the coastal and northwestern areas.
The winds will be westerly of low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will remain around average or slightly above.
Over the past 24 hours, various amounts of rainfalls were registered in different provinces as follows: Lattakia 61 mm, Tartous 60 mm, Homs 38mm, Hama 32 mm, Lattakia 17 mm, and Aleppo 2 mm.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 30/17, Daraa 29/15, Homs 26/12, Lattakia 27/18, Aleppo 27/14 and Deir Ezzor 31/17.
