Damascus, SANA – During a weekly session chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis on Tuesday, the Cabinet approved a bill on instating temporary workers with annual contracts and on gradual basis, with the first stage being for instating contracted workers including relatives of martyrs via the young graduates employment program.
The Cabinet also discussed the reasons behind the rising prices of eggs and the decreasing prices of chicken meat and how to address is that through supporting the poultry sector.
The Cabinet also stressed the need to carry out maintenance for malfunctioning ATMs and redistributing them in the optimal manner within a month, in addition to forming a work team to follow up on services and procedures in each ministry.
The Cabinet approved a bill on amending the law on the state’s right to protect caches of mineral resources and preventing any illicit extraction, transport, storage, and sale of these resources.
