Lattakia, SANA Carnival shows, music, awards, gifts, plays for children, direct selling and culinary contests supervised by al-Bustan Charitable Association are among other activities geared towards attracting more visitors to the charity bazaar currently held at the Orange Mall in Lattakia.
The bazaar came within the activities of Bawabet l-Shams (Gate of the Sun) Festival opened in Tartous under the auspices of Tourism Ministry, in cooperation with the General Sports Union .
Nour Omran, representative of al-Hiba for Advertisement Corporation and the media coordinator of the event highlighted the wide participation of the economic companies, banking institutions and charitable associations from different provinces in the festival and the discounts they offered to delight customers.
For her part, Lina Elewi, representative of the Damascus-based Matrons Fashion Company, underlined the importance of direct communication with the festival’s visitors and the opportunity that such events provide to get acquainted with people’s tastes and requirements in order to meet them.
Other participants found in the festival a chance to introduce their companies, find new market for their products, exchange viewpoints and expertise and develop their own businesses.
Accessories, handicrafts, culinary supplies and essential cooking tools, food supplies and clothes were presented throughout the multi-storeyed shopping mall’s stores and departments, in addition to a special pavilion for construction equipment.
Chairperson of Board of Directors of al-Amal Association for Special Needs, Raghdaa Issa, said that these activities contribute to enhancing cooperation between civil associations and the public and private sectors to offer social services to wide spectrum of people.
In turn, visitors praised the enormous variety of products on offer, calling for providing support to organize similar events and festivals.
The bazaar opens daily till the 20th of August from 12:00 am to 11:00 pm.
