Damascus, SANA The temperatures continue rising to become 3 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by the seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be hot with clear skies in general and it is going to be misty in the eastern, al-Jazira and al- Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 39/24, Daraa 38/24, Homs 36/23, Lattakia 33/25, Aleppo 39/24 and Deir Ezzor 43/27.
As for Thursday forecast, temperatures will remain above average by 3 to 6 degrees with hot weather prevailing around the country.
