Russian coordination center: Trucks loaded with weapons and ammo crossed Turkish borders to ISIS in Aleppo

Lattakia, SANA – The Russian coordination center in Hmeimim stated on Tuesday that it monitored a convoy of trucks loaded with weapons and munitions that crossed the Turkish borders and entered areas in Aleppo’s northeastern countryside where terrorists from ISIS are active.

The center said in a statement that the convoy moved feely in areas under the control of terrorist groups and reached an area where ISIS terrorists are positioned.

The center said that terrorists targeted areas in Aleppo with mortars, rockets, and artillery from the direction of Kafr Hamra town, adding that the number of civilian casualties is increasing constantly.

The center also said that the town of Handarat, the surroundings of al-Nairab Airport, and the neighborhoods of al-Muhafaza, al-Midan, al-Sheikh Maqsoud, and al-Zahra’a in Aleppo city suffered intensive shelling with mortar and rockets during the past 24 hours.
