Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will notably drop to become from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is being affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied to southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general to cloudy sometimes and local rain showers are expected in the northern, coastal and al-Jazeera areas while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badyia “desert” areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will remain below average and local rain showers are expected in the northwestern, coastal and al-Jazeera areas.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 25/19, Daraa 24/17, Homs 21/16, Hama 25/18, Hasaka29/18, Lattakia 19/17, Aleppo 24/16 and Deir Ezzor 30/19.
