Damascus, SANA – Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi said on Sunday the recently intensified attacks by terrorists and their targeting of civilians reflect their confusion due to their defeat in the battle with the Syrian Arab army and their backers’ failure to realize their plots.
In a phone call with the Syrian TV, al-Zoubi expressed his confidence in the ability of the Syrian people to defeat terrorism and its supporters, mainly the Saudi and Turkish regimes, commending in particular the people of Aleppo for their resilience against the terrorist crimes.
He said the general political scene has become very clear now, stressing that the Syrian leadership will never give up one inch of the Syrian soil no matter how long the crisis might last.
