Damascus, SANA – Temperatures drop but remain 3 to 65 degrees above average as the country is affected by low air pressure accompanied with southwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and the weather will be warm in general as local rain showers are also expected.
The winds will be westerly to southwesterly of light to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 27/12, Daraa 28/13, Homs 24/11, Hama 25/111, Hasaka 24/10, Lattakia 24/14, Aleppo 25/11 and Deir-Ezzor 29/13.
