Tehran, (SANA) – Iran congratulated the Syrian people on President Bashar al-Assad’s new presidential term.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Marzieh Afkham, stressed in a statement that “Syria, in the new stage and after overcoming the difficult stages, is now getting prepared to enter the stage of achieving more stability and calmness.”
She added that the Syrian government and people will move forward within the framework of national unity and pave the way for development and prosperity.
