Damascus, SANA – The Cabinet discussed in its weekly session on Tuesday means to develop the performance of state establishments, ensuring the availability of medicine in pharmacies, and the procedures for delivering aid to areas besieged by terrorists.
Chairing the session, Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi asserted that the government is committed to providing services to Aleppo and Deir Ezzor provinces and providing the necessary protection for Sheikh Miskeen Industrial City.
The Premier pointed out to the steps taken to improve security and stability in Homs city as well as improving the health situation in it, and that judicial and inspection authorities are following up on various cases and issues related to administrative and financial corruption.
For his part, Governor of the Central Bank of Syria Adib Mayyaleh reviewed the steps taken to boost the stability of the Syrian Pound exchange rate, while Director of the Planning and International Cooperation Commission Qais Khedr reviewed the results of his recent visit to Russia.
The Cabinet took the necessary steps to issue the bill on the teachers’ retirement treasury, and a bill on suspending the registration of real-estate properties that belong to real-estate departments that were closed due to security conditions.
