Beirut, SANA – Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East for Maronite Church, renewed his call for stopping the war against Syria and bringing peace into it.
He lamented that the entire Middle East region is eaten away by war, violence and terrorism, calling for praying to God that the conscience and hearts of the masters of wars against Syria, Iraq and Palestine be moved so that they halt these wars and peace can prevail once again.
