London, SANA- Syrian expatriate and international athlete Anas Jarbou’a swept two gold medals in the individual kata in Karate and the individual fighting, and won the shield of the best player at the International Championship of the SKC England Organization held in England.
About 3200 players from different countries of the world participated in the championship.
Jarbou’s dedicated his winning to his homeland Syria, saying “I am proud to participate in the Championship and to represent my homeland…This winning is so little in comparison with the sacrifices and the achievements of the Syrian Arab army.”
He called upon all the Syrian expatriates to work for serving their homeland as they are Syria’s ambassadors across the world, whishing Syria would return better than ever.
Jarbou’a has been able to rank first in the individual fighting through his participation in the championship from 2010 except in 2014, and he maintained his title as the captain of the international team of the SKC England Karate Organization from 2011 to 2015.
The SKC England is a sustainable and dependable karate organization which constantly seeks to develop the old ways and adapt them to meet the new.
The SKCE now has more than 60 clubs and it is dedicated to traditional Shotokan Karate which is the most widespread and popular Japanese style of the art.
