Terrorist rocket attacks in Aleppo and Homs kill 15civilians, including 7 children

Aleppo/Homs, SANA – 14 civilians, including 7 children, were killed in a new terrorist shelling attack in the city of Aleppo on Sunday.

A police source told SANA reporter on Sunday that terrorists positioned in Bani Zaid neighborhood fired rockets on al-Midan neighborhood in northeastern Aleppo city, leaving 14 civilians dead and 25 others injured.

The source added that the attack caused material damage to the citizens’ properties and houses.

Sources at Aleppo Health Department said 7 children were among the dead.

Later on Sunday, 8 civilians were injured, 3 of them are in a critical condition, when terrorists based in Bab al-Hadid neighborhood fired mortar shells that landed on al-Said Ali neighborhood in Aleppo city.
The attack caused material damage to civilians’ possessions.

The recent terrorist rocket attack in Aleppo city, which hit Salah-Eddin neighborhood on September 16, left two civilians dead and 6 others injured.

In Homs city, one civilian was killed when terrorists detonated an explosive device they had planted in a car in al-Zahra’a neighborhood.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that terrorists detonated an explosive device they had planted in a taxi cab when the car was near al-Muwasalat roundabout in al-Zahra’a neighborhood, killing the car’s driver.
