Damascus, SANA The Central Bank of Syria (CBS) on Thursday set the exchange rate of the USD against the SYP at 256.11 for banks and at SYP 256.27 for currency exchange companies.

The USD exchange rate for transfers was set at 255.

The CBS set the exchange rate of the Euro against the SYP at 285.17 for banks and 285.35 for currency exchange companies and 283.71 for transfers.

On Wednesday, the CBS set the exchange rate of the USD against the SYP at 256.16 for banks and at 256.27 for currency exchange companies.
