Provinces, SANA – Units of the army and armed forces on Wednesday carried out operations against dens and gatherings of terrorists in several areas, inflicting heavy losses upon them in person and equipment.
Damascus Countryside
The army carried out several special operations against dens and gatherings of terrorists in al-Qalamoun northern mountains, killing a number of them and destroying their vehicles in the Mishirfeh and Qara on the Lebanese borders.
Meanwhile, the army’s operations against armed terrorist organizations near the Great Mosque, Sports’ Hall and al-Ghanam square in Douma in Eastern al-Ghouta led to the killing of several terrorists and the destroying of two vehicles, one of them equipped with a heavy machine gun.
Another army unit clashed with terrorists in Aliya farms to the north of Douma, killing a number of them and injuring many others, while a second army unit killed a number of terrorists near al-Othman mosque in Erbin.
In Joubar, the army killed a number of terrorists near al-Adnan mosque.
Meanwhile, clashes erupted between families of Beit Sahm and terrorist organizations, leading to the killing of terrorists Abu Ammar al-Tawil and Sabah Mare’e Jaara.
Aleppo
A unit of the army and armed forces killed and wounded a number of members of the armed terrorist organizations and destroyed their heavy machineguns-equipped vehicles in al-Shakif area to the north of Aleppo city.
Terrorists were killed and a number of their fortress and vehicles were destroyed in the army military operations in Tal Jibin village, a military source told SANA.
The source added that many terrorists were also killed and injured ,and their vehicles, some equipped with heavy machineguns, were destroyed at the surroundings of Tal al-Madafah.
Another army unit carried out a military operation against terrorists’ gatherings, destroying one of their dens in Maktaa al-Bakaarah, to the north of Aleppo.
Terrorist organizations said on their social media website that dozens of their members were killed at the surroundings of Handarat, among them terrorists Abu Jarrah al-Filastini, abu Farouk al-Dairi, Abu al-Hareth al0-Manbiji and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist nicknamed as Abu Adel Doshka, khaled al-horani, nicknamed al-Amir, Basam Ahmad Shams Eddin, Okba Abdel-Wahab Edris, al-Muhajer Abi Hamzeh al-Sudani, Taha Hamoud, Alaa Abu Zaid, one of the field leaders of the so-called the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham.
Elsewhere, an army unit killed and wounded many terrorists and destroyed their gatherings near Haritan village.
Another army unit killed and injured scores of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in al-Mansourah village about 10 km to the west of Aleppo.
Idleb
A military source told SANA that the army killed a number of terrorists in Um Wadi, Kare’e al-ghazal and Um Jrein in Idleb countryside.
Army units killed many terrorists in Hallouz, Zeizoun, Bezre Farm in Ariha and the surrounding of Bennish in the countryside of northern province of Idleb.
The source clarified that army units directed heavy blows to terrorists’ gatherings in Bennish, to the northeast of the provinces, where many terrorists were killed and their weapons and ammunition destroyed.
Other army units eliminated terrorists, some of them foreigners, and destroy their vehicles and an ammo depot in Ein Sheib, Sarjeh, Ma’aret al-Nu’man, al-Tibeh, Haj Hamoud farm, and al-Husseiniye in Idleb countryside.
Lattakia
Units of Army and Armed Forces carried out special operations against terrorists’ hideouts in al-Zoik, Marj Shibli, Jub Qabtto, Kataf al-Ruman, Salma, Wata al-Khan and al-Kart in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
The operations resulted in the death of a large number of terrorists and the destruction of many vehicles, some of them equipped with heavy machineguns, and mortar launchers.
The terrorists Abad al-Wahab Hamidi and Marwan al-Damam from Libya, Abad al-Ilah Zuriqi from Jordan, and Omar Amiza from Egypt were identified among the dead.
Homs
Army units eliminated in a precise ambush many terrorists near the cement factory in al-Rastan area in Homs province. Mahmoud Mansour was identified among them.
In the province’s northern countryside, army units targeted with intensive strikes terrorist organizations’ gatherings in Kafr Laha, Tal Dahab, and al-Houla, killing and injuring many of their members.
Other units killed many terrorists from Jabhet al-Nusra and “Cham Islamic Freedom Movement” terrorist organization in the eastern countryside of Homs.
Daraa
A unit of the army and armed forces killed all members of a terrorist group and destroys their vehicle in Inkhil in the countryside of Daraa province.
Elsewhere, another unit of the army and armed forces foiled two terrorist groups attempts to infiltrate, from Al
-Gharia al-Gharbiya and the surroundings of Meshmesh, towards Kherbet Ghazale in the countryside of Daraa province, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroys a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun
Hama:
A military source told SANA that the army destroyed dens for terrorists and killed many of them in al-Khashabiya, Tabaret al-Hamra, al-Hadaj, Atshan and Hasriya in Hama countryside.
