Moscow-SANA – Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed the necessity of preserving Syria’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
President Putin affirmed that the Syrian people is the only party who decide the future of their country, away from any external dictates.
That came Monday during a press conference in Sochi brought together President Putin and Head of the Turkish Regime Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“We discussed the political settlement in Syria and cooperated within the framework of the Astana formula, which is considered the most effective. I confirm that the basic approach to resolving the crisis is to preserve Syria’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity” Putin stated.
