Damascus, SANA – Activities of the 38th annual general conference of the Dentists Syndicate started on Tuesday al-Cham Hotel in Damascus.
The two-day conference is set to discuss issues related to the profession of dentistry, syndical work, and the challenges that have emerged due to the current situation in the country.
Health Minister Nizar Yazigi stressed that medical syndicates constitute a major support base for the Ministry in its endeavor to provide healthcare of all kinds to all citizens nationwide.
In turn, Head of Dentists Syndicate Fadia Deeb said that the Syndicate is exerting great efforts to elevate work in the field of dentistry in terms of professionalism, reviewing some of the plans to achieve this.
Before the conference, Assistant Regional Secretary of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Hilal al-Hilal delivered a speech on the role of syndicates, unions, and popular organizations in confronting the dangers that are threatening Syria.
