Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, raised the issue of a lack of funding for plans been set to achieve early recovery as well as the harsh living conditions experienced by the Syrians.
That came during a meeting held on Thursday in the building of the Ministry with representatives of the UN organizations and their agencies, in addition to the international non-governmental organizations working in Syria.
Mikdad pointed out to the harsh living conditions suffered by the Syrians as a result of the coercive measures imposed by Western countries on the Syria, along with the support provided by these states to the terrorists.
Minister Mikdad condemned the contrived water cut-off by the Turkish occupation forces and their associated terrorist and separatist groups which resulted in depriving the people in Hasaka from their basic need ; water.
Mikdad called on all the representatives to raise their voices and hold the involved parties in this inhumane behavior accountable.
He addressed the issue of the return of Syrian refugees, stressing that the Syrian government is taking the appropriate measures for their dignified and safe return.
Mikdad also raised with the representatives the issue of a lack of funding for plans been set to achieve early recovery in addition to the measures taken by the Syrian government to facilitate humanitarian access throughout Syria.
In turn, the representatives affirmed their awareness of the extent of the suffering experienced by the Syrian citizens and their desire to make much more efforts to improve humanitarian work and meet the growing humanitarian needs in the country.
