Syria-Tunisia discuss heath cooperation

Geneva, SANA- Health Minister, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghabbash discussed with his Tunisian counterpart Ali AlMurabit means of bolstering cooperation between the two countries in health field.

The two sides meeting came on the sidelines of the work of  the 76th World Health Assembly (WHA) being held recently in Geneva.

Dr. Al-Ghabbash highly appreciated Tunisia’s supportive stances towards Syria, mainly the humanitarian assistance sent to the earthquake-affected people that struck the country on February 6, expressing desire to enhance health cooperation between Tunisia and Syria.

The World Health Assembly is the decision-making body of WHO. It is attended by delegations from all WHO Member States and focuses on a specific health agenda prepared by the Executive Board.
