Moscow, SANA- Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Moscow, Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari, the developments in Syria.
During the meeting yesterday, views were exchanged on the situation in and around Syria, with a focus on issues of enhancing relations between Syria and its regional environment, Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on its official website.
Urgent issues of further strengthening the multifaceted Russian-Syrian cooperation were also discussed, including the implementation of the agreements reached during the recent official visit of President Bashar al-Assad to Moscow.
