Provinces, SANA – Army units continued on Sunday crackdown on terrorists in several areas across the country, dealing heavy blows to their organizations and rolling back their advances.
Daraa
Units of the army and armed forces killed many members of the terrorist organizations operating in the villages of Aqraba, al-Mal, al-Tiha, al-Hara and Kafr Nasij in northwestern Daraa province, according to a military source.
The source stressed to SANA that caches containing weapons and ammunition were destroyed in the operations.
More terrorists were killed as the army targeted their hideouts and gatherings in Tal Antar, Zemrin village and the cities of Tafas and Inkhil.
Meanwhile, an army unit clashed with terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist groups in al-Kark neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad in the city of Daraa, leaving many of them killed and their weapons destroyed.
Army unit destroyed terrorists’ hideout in Ataman in Daraa countryside, leaving a number of terrorists dead.
Quneitra
In the eastern countryside of Quneitra, an army unit clamped down hard on terrorists in Mas’hara town who are operating in coordination with the Israeli enemy, killing many of them in the course of targeting their gatherings.
Aleppo
An army unit launched an operation using all kinds of weapons against terrorists’ dens in Maaret al-Arteeq village in Jabal Samaan area northwest of Aleppo province, a military source told SANA.
The source added that several of the terrorists were killed and injured and their dens were destroyed completely along with their arms and ammunition.
In the northwestern countryside, units of the army launched concentrated strikes against terrorists’ dens in Khan Touman village, according to the military source.
More terrorists were killed and injured in Mseibeen village in northeastern Aleppo where terrorists are reeling after the army’s recent gains in nearby areas.
An army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their hideouts in the areas of Dweir al-Zaytoun, al-Mallah Farms, the area near Handarat Camp, al-Rayyan, al-Ridwanyeh, Kifr Halab, al-Atareb, Hreitan, and Kuroum Aziza in Aleppo countryside.
80 members of Jabhat al- Nusra and Hazm Movement groups killed in infighting
In another context, social media pages mentioned that more than 80 terrorists from “Hazm Movement” and Jabhat al-Nusra were killed during clashes between the two rival terrorist groups in Aleppo western countryside.
Homs
An army unit destroyed several gatherings of terrorist in al-Nashashiyeh, southwest of Hasya near the border with Lebanon, in the countryside of the central Homs province, according to a military source.
The operation resulted in the killing of many of the terrorists, while others were left wounded, the source told SANA.
Other army units destroyed a hideout for terrorists in al-Rastan al-Tahtani and targeted a vehicle with terrorists aboard near the railway in the western part of al-Zara village in al-Rastan area, located in the northern countryside of the province.
The source also said army units killed many terrorists and destroyed their equipment in al-Quneitrat village in the countryside of Talbisa.
Intensive military operations were carried out in Salam Gharbi and al-Msheirfeh and al-Shamaliyeh villages in the eastern countryside of Homs.
The operations targeted terrorists’ hideouts, leaving many killed and their weapons destroyed.
Hasaka
Units of the army and armed forces killed a number of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria “ISIS” terrorists in the eastern province of Hasaka.
SANA reporter said the army, also, destroyed ISIS terrorists’ vehicles in the two villages of Abyadh and Dawoodiya, and Milbiya area in the countryside of the eastern province of Hasaka.
The source added that an army unit thwarted an attack launch by ISIS terrorists on Dawoodiya, pointing out that other army units destroyed with artillery fire ISIS gatherings in Milbiya area.
Scores of ISIS terrorists were killed, many others were injured and their vehicles were destroyed during the operation.
Two civilians killed, two others injured in terrorist attack in Hasaka
Two civilians were killed and two others were injured after a motorbike loaded with explosives went off in al-Masaken neighborhood in Hasaka city.
A source at the province’s Police Command told SANA that the motorbike was parked by terrorists in the neighborhood and remotely detonated, resulting in the death of two civilians and the injuring of a girl and a man.
Damascus countryside
Units of the army and armed forces tightened control over Rajem al-Sayd area at southwestern of Damascus countryside after killing the last gatherings of al-Nusra Front terrorists in it, according to a military source.
Idleb
A military source said an army unit killed a number of terrorist groups’ leaders in al-Bashiryeh in Jisr al-Shughour area in Idleb countryside, among the dead were Ali al-Saeed, Mohammad Mustafa and Abu Ouday al-Jisri.
