Makhlouf, Grandi discuss ways to address repercussions of earthquake

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Chairman of the Higher Relief Committee, Eng. Hussein Makhlouf discussed with UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi and his accompanying delegation ways of support and assistance provided by the UN High Commission for Refugees to face the effects of the earthquake that resulted in human and material losses in the affected governorates.

He praised the decisions taken by the Syrian government in terms of opening crossings to facilitate the arrival of aid to the northwestern regions.
