Sultanate of Oman sets up an air bridge to transport relief and medical aid to Syria

Muscat, SANA- Sultanate of Oman announced setting up an air bridge to transport relief and medical aid to Syria in order to help confronting the repercussions of the earthquake which hit the country on Monday

“Sultanate of Oman started on Wednesday setting up an air bridge to transport relief and medical aid to the Syrian areas affected by the earthquake, in order to provide aid for the Syrians”, according to Oman News Agency.

Earlier, Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimur Al Said, has affirmed in a phone call with President Bashar Al-Assad Tuesday morning that his country will stand by Syria to overcome this disaster, and will send urgent aid to support the efforts exerted by the Syrian government to alleviate the disaster’s effects.
