Damascus, SANA- Director General of Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) Eiad Wannous Discussed with Director General of Oman News Agency (ONA) Ibrahim Al Azri means of bolstering cooperation to develop the media content they provide to the public.
This came during a meeting held on Sunday coordinated by the Syrian Embassy in the Sultanate of Oman through Google Meet service.
Syria’s Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman Idris Mayya underlined the importance of cooperation and coordination between SANA and ONA to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
For his part, Wannous indicated the importance of exchanging experiences and news services, and thinking about joint media productions between the two agencies, reflecting the great richness in the two brotherly countries.
Wannous noted the constructive role and objectivity of the Omani media in general, and the ONA in particular in conveying the real image of events of the terrorist war on Syria.
In turn, Al Azri said that the Omani media has been always keen to be objective and transparent in addressing issues that would enhance joint Arab action and reject terrorism in all its forms.
