Damascus, SANA – A mother was killed and her child was injured on Sunday in terrorist rocket attacks which targeted the residential areas of Ish al-Warwar and Bab Touma in Damascus.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that a rocket shell fired by terrorist hit a house in Ish al-Warwar in the north of the capital, blasting a hole in the house’s roof, claiming the life of 35-year-old Roshan Amin, inflicting serious injuries on her 8-year-old son Mohammad, and causing material damage to the house’s contents.

Earlier, the the Police Command told SANA that a rocket shell fired by terrorists hit the roof of a house in al-Joura alley in the residential area of Bab Touma which is located in the Old City, causing significant material damage to the house but no injuries.
