Aleppo/Lattakia, SANA – A civilian was killed and 11 others were injured as terrorist targeted residential neighborhoods in Aleppo city with rocket shells and explosive cylinders on Friday.
A source at the Police Command in the northern province said a number of the shells and locally made cylinder bombs landed in al-Khalidiyeh neighborhood north-west of Aleppo, leaving a civilian dead and 6 others injured.
Five more civilians were reported injured as other rocket shells fell in al-Hamadaniyeh area.
Huge material damage was caused to public and private properties due to the terrorist attacks, the source added.
Lattakia
Earlier, two civilians were wounded in a terrorist attack by two rocket shells on residential neighborhoods in Lattakia city.
A source at the province told SANA that one rocket landed on a house in al-Hamam neighborhood, injuring two civilians and causing material damage to the house.
The source added that the other rocket fell in al-Thwara Street, leaving material damage.
Extremist terrorist groups of al-Nusra Front, the so-called Jaish al-Islam and Ahrar al-Sham are spreading in the northern countryside of Lattakia. These groups continue targeting the province with daily terrorist attacks.
